Job description: Cordia Resources is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager with property management experience to oversee key accounting functions, including fixed assets, general ledger reconciliations, and accounts payable & accounts receivable review. The ideal candidate has a strong background in real estate or property management accounting and is detail-oriented with excellent financial oversight skills.Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.
• Perform and review general ledger reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Manage and review accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close procedures.
• Collaborate with property managers and other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis related to property financials.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation.
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Property management accounting experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of fixed assets, reconciliations, AP, and AR review.
• Experience with property management accounting software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, RealPage, or similar).
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
