Job description: Commercial Real Estate ParalegalLocation: New York or New Jersey OfficeWhat You’ll Do:
- Conduct title and survey reviews for commercial real estate transactions.
- Assist in the preparation and review of purchase and sale agreements, financing documents, and lease agreements.
- Coordinate and manage closings, including the preparation of closing documents and checklists.
- Handle due diligence tasks such as ordering and reviewing title commitments, surveys, and other related documents.
- Assist attorneys with drafting and preparing various legal documents and correspondence.
- Organize and maintain real estate files and records.
- Conduct research and gather information as needed for real estate transactions.
- Liaise with clients, lenders, title companies, and other parties involved in transactions to ensure smooth and timely completion.
What You’ll Bring:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal in commercial real estate.
- College degree and/or paralegal certificate required.
- Solid experience in title and survey reviews, purchases, sales, financings, and leasing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong team player with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
