Job description: DescriptionDirector of Finance up to $230k/yr – Real EstateWe are seeking a Director of Finance. This individual will play a key role in overseeing corporate accounting, financial reporting, and tax reporting, with exposure to private equity and real estate investments. This is an exciting leadership opportunity with potential for growth.Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounting, reporting, and tax filings for corporate entities and real estate/private equity investments
• Prepare corporate budgets and manage quarterly lender reporting
• Manage corporate cash flow, invoicing, receivables, and owner distributions
• Oversee payroll, 401k, and worker compensation audits
• Assist with tax planning and estimates for ownership
• Ensure compliance with treasury activities and internal controls
• Supervise audits for corporate entities and investment funds
• Support capital planning and structuring of acquisitions and joint ventures
• Prepare reports and analyze industry trends

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA designation preferred (public and private experience mix ideal)
• 10+ years of accounting experience within the real estate industry
• A strong background in REITs, open-ended funds, and private fund structures
• Knowledge of tax reporting and compliance for private REITs, partnerships, S-Corps, and K-1s
