Reporting directly to the Regional President for Rady Children’s Orange County, this role will be responsible for negotiating new leases, managing existing lease agreements, and overseeing third-party leased spaces. The Executive Director will also play a critical role in coordinating space planning efforts across Rady Children’s Health campuses, working in close collaboration with the Vice President of Operations and the Vice President of Enterprise Master Plan.
Additionally, this position will oversee the Centrum and Commerce building office managers, ensuring effective property management and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in real estate transactions, strong financial acumen, and a strategic mindset to optimize the organization’s real estate assets in alignment with its long-term goals.Pay Range Minimum $170,789 Midpoint $226,283 Maximum $281,778Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.ExperienceRequired: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in real estate, with a strong background in lease negotiation, property management, and space planning.Preferred: Experience working in healthcare, corporate real estate, or institutional real estate is a plus.EducationRequired: Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or a related field.Preferred: Master’s Degree preferred.TrainingRequired: N/APreferred: N/ASpecialized SkillsRequired: Strong knowledge of California real estate laws and regulations. Demonstrated financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and optimizing real estate investments. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership and external partners.
