• The client is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Financial Research and Investment Analyst to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in a strategic investment initiative, gaining exposure to both the investment and operational sides of the AI ecosystem. You will work closely with the program’s partners and the portfolio of startups to identify, evaluate, and support high-potential startups.

Responsibilities:

• Startup Ecosystem Research: Proactively research and identify promising early-stage companies within the AI landscape. This includes market mapping, competitive analysis, and attending industry events. Monitor financial performance of select portfolio companies.
• Investment Research & Sourcing: Reach out to and meet with promising startups. Actively monitor the team’s sourcing activities and pipeline of new investment opportunities.
• Deal Evaluation & Due Diligence: Support the partnership team in evaluating potential partnerships, including meeting with founders, conducting due diligence, and helping to construct partnership opportunities and presentations for the partnership team.
• Operational Support: Provide operational support to portfolio companies as needed, which may include technical troubleshooting, marketing support, and other operational matters
• Go-To-Market Support: Support companies and teams with GTM moments, including feature launches, blogposts, events, etc.
• Feature Incubation & Integration Support: Collaborate with portfolio companies and internal teams to ideate and support the incubation and integration of new features and functionalities within the Gemini ecosystem.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with founders and other key players in the AI ecosystem.
• Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape within the AI space.

Mandatory:

• 2-3 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, management consulting, or a high-growth technology startup.
• Proven ability to manage investment portfolios, assess risk, and create actionable financial forecasts to support organizational growth and profitability.
• Strong expertise in financial strategy development, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
• Strong financial modeling and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and make data-driven recommendations.
• Ability to create compelling presentations and investment memos.
• Demonstrated passion for AI and emerging technologies.
• Experience working with the startup community is a plus.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
