&Lead Product Manager, DataThe Data Platform team at Built owns the default and self-service reporting modules across all of our SaaS software for lenders, owners, and general contractors, as well as standalone data products and those embedded within our application. We focus on building scalable, high-performing data solutions that empower our users with actionable insights.ROLE SUMMARY & SCOPE
Built is seeking an experienced Lead Product Manager, Data to lead the Data Platform team in driving the evolution of our data products and reporting capabilities. This role will focus on shaping the vision, strategy, and execution of our data platform, ensuring that users can effectively leverage data to optimize their workflows and make informed decisions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong product management background with a deep understanding of data infrastructure, analytics, and user-centric design. They should be comfortable collaborating with engineering, data science, and business stakeholders to drive impactful and monetizable data solutions.RESPONSIBILITIES / WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Define and execute the roadmap for Built’s data platform, reporting modules, and data products, ensuring alignment with business and customer needs.
• Own and improve the default and self-service reporting experiences across our software suite.
• Partner closely with engineering, data science, and design teams to develop and enhance scalable data solutions.
• Drive development of embedded analytics and standalone data products that enhance the value of Built’s SaaS offerings.
• Gather and analyze user feedback, market trends, and competitive intelligence to inform product strategy.
• Define and track key success metrics, ensuring continuous improvement.
• Lead go-to-market efforts, working with product marketing and customer success to ensure successful adoption of new features.
• Serve as an advocate for data-driven decision-making within the organization and for our customers.

SKILLS

• Ability to translate complex data concepts into intuitive user experiences.
• Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of data infrastructure, data visualization, and self-service analytics tools.
• Experience working with engineering teams on data-intensive applications and platforms.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills to drive alignment across multiple teams.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of progressive experience in data product management or related fields.
• Experience with BI and analytics platforms such as Sigma, Tableau, Looker, or similar.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data architectures (e.g., Snowflake, DBT, Kafka) and modern data stack concepts.

NICE TO HAVES

• Background in SaaS software, particularly within fintech, construction, or lending industries.
• Experience with machine learning and AI-driven analytics.

Built’s salary range for this position is $150,000-$190,000 USD per year. The pay range is designed to accommodate upward mobility in the role, therefore it encompasses the full span of proficiency levels for this role and we believe that the midpoint of the range is competitive in the market. Salary is just one component of Built’s total compensation package for employees.
