Become part of the Willow Bridge family and grow your career path today!This is a paid, full-time 9-week rotational program that will cover the processes of leasing, bookkeeping, reporting, budgeting, marketing, maintenance, and management skills for onsite property management. You will be provided with training programs through e-learning and shadowing. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience of the daily operations in the property management industry.ResponsibilitiesThe Property Management Intern will be responsible for assisting the onsite management team at a Willow Bridge Property Company community. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and an eagerness to learn.

• Learn how to interact with prospects in the following areas:

• Welcoming guests in the front office and answering phone calls
• Touring the community and completing a lease application & paperwork
• Learn how to interact with residents in the following areas:

• Completing rent collections, deposits, late notices, and posting rent
• Receiving move out notices, service requests, and resident transfers
• Learn how to inspect the property in the following areas:

• Walk vacant apartment homes, make readies, and complete service requests in property management software
• Preparing the office, model home, vacant apartment homes and tour path
• Community policy violation, repairs needed, landscaping check, etc.
• Check assigned email regularly
• Check in with assigned manager and internship program directors regularly to report progress, questions, and any concerns that may arise
• Work with team to actively post on community social pages including Instagram and Facebook and incorporate responding positively to all online reviews

Qualifications

• Interest or desire to work in property management, real estate, or sales
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail
• Strong customer service skills and an enjoyment in meeting new people
• Skilled in basic math
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Ability to work in-person at Emerald Row Apartments for the duration of the program
• Ability to collaborate with team members and use available resources to effectively complete tasks
• Must be able to tour the community with clients, which includes walking the property and climbing stairs
• Will be a rising Junior or Senior for a degree in a Property Management, Real Estate, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field at the time of the first day of the program
