$225,000 – $260,000 + Bonus & BenefitsDirect Counsel is seeking a Real Estate Finance Associate with 1-3 years of experience to join a highly regarded law firm’s Real Estate Practice in Charlotte. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex real estate finance transactions in a dynamic and collaborative environment.Responsibilities

• Represent financial institutions, investors, and lenders in commercial real estate finance transactions.
• Structure and negotiate loan agreements for office buildings, shopping centers, hotels, industrial facilities, and multifamily housing .
• Draft and review loan documents, purchase agreements, and related transactional documents.
• Conduct due diligence, including title and survey review .
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to manage deal flow and execution .

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of real estate finance experience .
• Experience representing financial institutions, lenders, or investors in commercial real estate transactions preferred.
• Familiarity with CMBS and CLO lending is a plus.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills .
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $225,000 – $260,000 , depending on experience.
