Job description: Our client is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior HVAC Mechanic to join their Property Management Team. The successful candidate will oversee HVAC maintenance and repair operations across R&D Class A office and retail spaces in Westford and Burlington, MA. • Portfolio Oversight: Manage HVAC maintenance and repairs for 2+ million square feet of commercial real estate across Northern MA.
• System Maintenance: Perform inspections, repairs, and scheduled maintenance for all types of HVAC units and equipment, including chiller plants, heat pumps, and cooling towers.
• Operational Excellence: Ensure all systems operate at peak efficiency by troubleshooting distribution systems for velocity, volume, temperature, and pressure.
• Compliance Management: Oversee HVAC code-required compliance testing and maintain comprehensive records for inspection and safety standards.
• Vendor Coordination: Manage third-party service providers, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
• On-Call Support: Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation every six weeks.
• Construction Coordination: Collaborate with the Construction Management division on new projects and renovations, including system commissioning and as-built organization.
• Team Development: Assist in training other technicians and staff in preventative maintenance best practices.

• Experience: Minimum 5+ years of HVAC maintenance experience (stable employment history strongly preferred).
• Technical Expertise: Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, energy management systems, and mechanical equipment.
• Licenses & Certifications:

• MA Refrigeration License (Required)
• OSHA 10 or 30 (Preferred)
• Honeywell Control System experience (Preferred)
• Soft Skills: Strong team orientation, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 pounds and safely use ladders.
• Location: Must be commutable to Westford/Burlington, MA.
