Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Associate Attorney with at least five (5) years of experience representing lenders in construction, bridge, and permanent loans at a national or regional law firm. The ideal candidate will have significant lender-side experience drafting and negotiating mortgage loan documents and conducting real estate and entity due diligence. Key ResponsibilitiesDraft, review, and negotiate loan documents for construction, bridge, and permanent financing.Conduct real estate and entity due diligence, including title, survey, organizational structure, and zoning reviews.Advise lender clients on loan structuring, compliance, and risk management.Collaborate with internal teams and clients, taking full ownership of projects from inception to closing.Provide legal guidance on transactional matters, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Qualifications & RequirementsJuris Doctor (J.D.) from a top-tier law school with strong academic credentials.At least 5 years of experience in lender-side real estate finance transactions at a national or regional law firm.Admitted to and in good standing with the California Bar.Outstanding legal writing, analytical, and negotiation skills.Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
